Welcome to Puleo's Dairy
Started in 1928, with a Model T pick up truck, Charles
Puleo established home delivery routes in the Salem, Ma area. Growing
steadily into the 1940's, the company moved into a state-of-the-art
dairy, and opened a seasonal roadside ice cream stand on our site on
Highland Ave. An entire dairy renovation in 1989 culminated with a new
dairy bar and restaurant, open year round.
Expanding our product line and delivery areas has kept
us moving forward. Our milk is from Massachusetts herds. The cows which
produce our milk are NOT treated with bovine growth hormone. All of our
milk
is tested for antibiotics, and then processed and bottled in
environmentally friendly glass returnable bottles. Freshly processed
milk is available in our store that same day, and available for home
delivery no more than two days after processing. We challenge any store
